As much as Dean attempts to deny it, he is deeply involved with the politics of the ongoing IBC elections. He has used his Facebook group "The Betta Connection" to persuade voters to vote for Linda Olson. Don't be mistaken, Linda Olson would never be an acting president of the IBC, Dean would have full influence over the position, and both of them would use it as leverage for personal gain. Linda, to get free labor out of IBC members and increase her orders; and Dean to further manipulate and take advantage of people in the hobby.
